This Land

The This Land project is a cross-collaborative initiative working to redefine land use and tenure in communities across the United States utilizing an intentional participatory design process. We are partnered with April De Simone and Designing the WE, a for-benefit design studio positioned within the fields of social innovation and community driven social, cultural and economic development. A successful framework will be one that fosters a sense of community and belonging, places control in the hands of the local community, attracts private investors and lenders, and guarantees affordability in the long-run.
